This tutorial is about how to Terminate cPanel Account via WHM

In this documentation, we can check how to terminate cPanel accounts from WHM, if you are no longer hosting with the site or you want to down the site. Before terminating the account, you can take the backup and download it to your local system.

This documentation is only for Resellers, and accounts with VPS or Dedicated servers.

1)  Login to WHM.

2) Navigate to Account Information >> List Accounts.

3) It shows a list of cPanel accounts that are created on the server, you can search the required cPanel account via the option on the top ” Search For “.

4) Click on the small square box option near the domain. It will shows some options regarding the cPanel account. You need to choose the ” Terminate Account ” option to cancel the account.

5)  A message will appear on the screen, “Are you sure you want to remove the account “This will permanently remove all of the user’s data from the system.,” click on “Yes, remove this account” button to confirm the account termination.

Then the cPanel account will be terminated from the server and it will take some times to complete the action, depends on the account size.
